Quentin and Allison wanted to have their engagement session at their cozy lakeside cabin. The cabin that they have spent so many rainy evenings at, playing crib and cuddling by the crackling woodstove. It was important to them to be documented in an environment that was special to them, and in a way that was simply, them. They reached out to me with a vision of getting cozy in their cabin on the lake and then ending the session with a paddle around Cameron Lake on their old canoe, and frolicking in the mossy forest.
We met in the morning at the cabin and they put on a fire right away. In true PNW fashion, rain slowly drizzled outside and a gorgeous, moody mist rolled over the lake. We started their session indoors with a game crib and a cup of coffee. As the rain continued to come down we made our way out to the lake. The mountains and mist and rain on the lake made such a stunning backdrop for a canoe paddle. As they made their way around the lake, I couldn't believe how magical it looked.
We finished their session with a misty walk through the woods, the rain making everything glisten and the moss even more green. The Cameron Lake area is so enchanting in itself, it was so quiet, and peaceful. Just the perfect location for this engagement session.
