Kelsey and Matthew are the sweetest people. When I met with them for their engagement session, we clicked instantly and worked so well together. Their wedding took place at the Olympic View Golfcourse, in Victoria British Columbia, which featured a stunning waterfall for taking photos, as well as beautiful forested areas. K+ M had so many beautiful details and thoughtful moments. Everything from getting ready in the morning, to the lively dancing in the evening went perfectly. They started their day with getting ready at separate locations, and did a super sweet first look once we arrived to the wedding venue. Kelseys dress from Kathryn Bass Bridal was absolutely breathtaking. She paired it with handmade beaded pieces from a dear friend.
As the west coast sometimes does, it drizzled outside so their ceremony was moved to the indoor location, but a little rain didn't stop K+M from having photos captured in the stunning forest and waterfall. One of the reasons Kelsey actually chose this venue was because of the beautiful trees.
Their ceremony took place in a stunning room with a huge glass wall, and beautiful florals from Kenmar Flower Farms. K+M had some unique and adorable moments during their ceremony, including a game of "rock paper scissors" to determine who went first with saying their written vows. Yes, they are THAT cute. There were tears and laughter all throughout the room. After their emotional ceremony, we headed out into the grounds to capture the bridal party photos and couples portraits. This bridal party was such a hoot!!! Plus everyone go to take a golf cart which was so much fun, and made for some adorable photos.
The rest of the evening perfectly flowed from family photos, into dinner, speeches and ended with so much dancing!!! The reception room at Olympic View Golf Course was absolutely stunning, with florals everywhere, handmade table numbers and so many other amazing details. It featured a beautiful glass wall, dance floor, and it served as the perfect space for the celebration. This wedding was incredible in so many ways, I can't wait to be back there.
